SCOTTISH CONGREGATIONAL FELLOWSHIP
Jesus loves you
Latest News
Our churches are old and new. Our oldest traces its roots back to 1794 - the youngest was formed in 2016! Our Fellowship is fairly new. We were formed on Saturday 28th February 2015 - so we're just two years old.
Welcome
Welcome to the website of the Scottish Congregational Fellowship.
We're a grouping of Congregational Churches in Scotland, which are members of the Congregational Federation, based in Nottingham.
As a Fellowship we aim to:
-
act as a channel for participation and information to, with and from the Congregational Federation.
-
facilitate mutual help and fellowship among our member churches in Scotland.
Congregationalism in Scotland is not new.
We've been around since the 18th Century - but even before that, there were groups of Christians who valued the independence of the local church.
We've been called the People's Church - for here everyone's voice matters - everyone is equal.
If you're near one of our churches, you will be made very welcome.
We're very much into church planting. What matters to us is people - not buildings or structures. So even if there's not one of our churches near you, do get in touch if you're interested!
